I don't know if it was the coffee that I have this morning or waking up feeling drained of my creativity that I end up forcing myself finally to go and open my laptop, painstakingly learning the art of blogging. I can write yeah -- I can!!! I think so :) - but to open a site, figure out how to navigate the website, choosing a blog name, etc.. etc... not my cup of tea-- but here I am scribbling the words...
I am writing this blog as a birthday gift to a friend who has stood by me through thick and thin and who chose to see beyond the image, beyond the many labels and seek to find the person that I am, the person that I am yet to be.
This first post is about friendship -- seven? yes -- seven years of a beautiful friendship that I do hope will last for a lifetime. And I don't even remember how I met this beautiful creature that I have to send a message through "viber" asking when. When she replied 2007 -- I said wow!! seven years!!
If most marriage or relationship go through that great excuse " the 7 year itch", I think friendship won't have it. So my friend, you said that I am quenching my thirst through creativity. You may be right!!
Life sometimes is about subsititution - what we don't have that created certain voids in our hearts can be filled up with gazillion of other things- and maybe writing in here could be one of them.
